Albert Einstein said this: "The most important question you could ever ask yourself is this: Is the universe friendly?" 

I heard that quote in 1999 when I was doing my best just to stay alive in a highly abusive relationship. I decided to pay attention to how I was seeing the universe I was living in. Was it friendly? Or was it hostile? It was definitely hostile. I wondered if I could JUST CHOOSE to see it as friendly. I began deliberately looking for a friendly universe wherever I could find it. And the more I did that, the better my life felt, even in the midst of the fear and pain that I often experienced. As it happens, you CAN just choose to see the universe as friendly, no matter what your circumstances are like. This was one of the most empowering things I've ever done for myself, and my life changed drastically for the better because of it.  

Fast forward a few years and I was living a completely different life and one of the things I was doing was traveling the state of Arizona speaking to groups of inmates about what it's like to live as a victim. They always wanted to know how I was able to change my life and it wasn't long before they began asking me to write it down for them. So, my first book was written at the request of about 200 inmates who were serious about making different choices in their own lives. That book was called "Choose Your Universe," and those three words still hold a very special place in my heart because of that.

This book illustrates what it's like to actually take full responsibility for what your life is like. It gives a great visual from the perspective of the victim (me!) who decides never to be a victim again and who changes her own self - her own behaviors, perceptions, and attitudes - and in so doing becomes the version of herself who can finally leave and not go back. It was an AMAZING experience, and I am SO proud of this book!

I ended Pop Your Paradigm when I was still very much in midair, in the middle of a leap of faith that took me FAR out into the Grand Unknown. I had many readers get in touch and tell me that they REALLY needed to know what happened next!

Successfully MidAir tells the rest of that story, but the way it was written made it unnecessary to read Pop Your Paradigm first. And there is way more to Successfully MidAir than just finishing the story. It's a beautiful book, meant to provide real, specific tools to help the reader to overcome any obstacle they may ever come up against. 

This book is my pride and joy.
